Looking for the ancestors of William C. Cooley (abt 1780-1850)who married Nancy Bounds (1784-1858)in 1800 in South Carolina. He was likely born in Darlington County, South Carolina and died in Jasper County, Mississippi.

Thanks for your response. Are the couples listed below William C. Cooley and Nancy Bounds the ancestors in ascending order of William C. Cooley. In other words, was Ira the father of William and Burrell the father of Ira and so forth?
If so, do your have any additional information on these ancestors such as dates and places of birth, marriage, and death?

I see (in researching) that you have the surname Arrington mentioned in your list. I am at a complete halt in my research on the Arringtons. Would you possibly have any information on John V. Arrington, Henry C. Arrington (married Missouri Post), or Robert Arrington. They were born about 1852-1875. If you do, I would surely appreciate a reply. Thanks

I have info on a Robert Arrington b. Oct 1852 in Ga. He married a Sarah Hartley and was a member of New Hope Baptist Chruch in Yatesville. Upson Co, Thomaston Ga. His father was Jesse Arrington and mother was Elizabeth Shephard Married Dec 16, 1830 also in Upson Co, GA. His children were Jonah b. Dec 1878, Susan b. June 1880 ( my gr grandmother), Robert b. Jul 1883, and Jessie b. Aug 1886.
