Earl, I'd like to be sure you're my uncle - Do you have any children? I sure wish you had an email address to respond to, I hate posting personal information on a message board.

Please to met you Roy, I believe we are related, as you know. But, your father, Melvin, was my grandfather's (Earl A. Metzel Sr.) brother. I know a little about our family history, but would love to know more, have you been able to get much background on our family? Abe (who's brother's names were Joseph Mo) Laura (who's father was originally; Barbeau, changed his name to King fought in the civil war). They actually had 15 kids, 2 died, I'm not sure how, may have been at birth? The 13 that had survived were; 1. Melvin, 2. Earl 1908-1998, 3. Lotta (Ladd), was the eldest, 4. Howard, 1895-1975, 5. William 1896-1964, 6. Ethel (Brous), 7. Georgette, died at 21, 8. Myron, 9. David, 10. Florence (Davison), 11. Edna (Phillips), 12. Delbert, who died at 17, 13. Clarence, who died at 18 months. I'd like to hear more from you, perhaps we could communicate via email?

Hi, I may be shooting in the dark but I've just started my search into the Metzel's. I'm looking for the family of a Kenneth Scott Metzel who was born in Ohio in 1932. His mother's name was Mary and that's all the info I have. Can you help??
