Hi, I am seeking info on my grandmother Ida Chitwood. I don't know the name of her father, but he married Sarah Elizabeth Eubanks. Ida has a brother too. Ida was born in Winco?, Oklahoma about 1820. Mary Etta was my ggrandmother. Her father was Russel Byrdwell Chitwood b. 1817 in GA. Her mother was Sarah Moore b. 1820. Russells father was Lazrus Chitwood, son of James Chitwood, son of Richard chitwood, son of Matthias Chitwood, son of Berkeley Chetwood, son of Thomas Chetwood. Mary Etta married George Thomas Armstrong, son of George Washington Armstrong, son of Thomas R. Armstrong, son of William Armstrong and Alianna Hill. The Chitwood name was in times past Chetwood and Cheatwood.
