I don;t recall if we have corresponded before in the past about Dwight Klinck, but I do have some information for you.
His parents were George Carl Klinck, b 4/15/1788 NY-d 11/7/1856 & Lucy Ives, b 1/19/1793.
His granparents were Johann Georg Klinck, b abt 1760-d abt 1812 & Catherine Graham, b abt 1762 - d 11/21/1828.
His grreat grandparents were: Johann Jacob Klinck, b abt 1730 & Margarethha Fichter, b abt 1730, from Germany.
I am descended from the brother of Johann Jacob Klinck whose name was also Johann George Klinck. Apparently, Johann Jacob named a son after his brother. In fact, my ancestor, Johann George did likewise, naming a son J. Jacob! Talk about confusing keeping them all straight!
I have been researching these lines for about 10 years with another researcher, so I am pretty sure this info is correct, but as any researcher knows, there is always room for error when documented proof is so sparce for so long ago.
