Hi Jill,
Yes, I have more information on the ANDRE-LAFONTAINE line, and am aware of the marriages between that line and this HOMIER line.
I have the following at hand:
Eusebe ANDRE-LAFONTAINE m. Philomene HOMIER,
their son Leo married Elmire HOMIER
Eusebe's sister, Esther married Joseph HOMIER,
Eusebe's other sister, Rose-Delima married Treffle HOMIER,
and it is Treffle & Rose's daughter Elmire who married Eusebe's son Leo...that seems a bit close come to look at it closely!
Treffle, Joseph and Philomene were the children of Francois HOMIER and Genevieve MENARD while Eusebe, Esther, and Rose-Delima were the children of Charles ANDRE-LAFONTAINE and Esther BOUCHARD. They are my third-great grandparents, but not through HOMIER...my grandmother was a LAFONTAINE.
I've been in contact with some of the other HOMIER cousins from this board, it's nice to finally "meet" you, too. I've been concentrating on the ANDRE-LAFONTAINE line but since there are so many close links at that generation, I am also very interested in the HOMIER's as well.
I have a copy of Treffle's obituary, if you haven't got it already, email me and I will forward a copy to you.
Susan
