My Grandmother was Rosetta(rosie) Bell Dry, she Married Lucian Leroy West on June 3 1903, and died in California in 1957. She also told my mother that she was part cherokee and I have been checking on this Off and on for over 25 years. I have checked the Dawes and Stiller rolles and hve found a George w. Dry listed on them I still have not made a connection with him as of yet. I have gotten a copy of Clarissa(clarice) And George Dry's Marriage certificate. Her Mother had to sign for them to get Married because she was under 18 yrs of age.
