Surnames: Arrants, Arrant, Aaron, Voiles, Voyles, Viles
I don't know the answer, but this info may begin to give some clues, or it may be of a different line.
Recent DNA test results indicate that Philip Voiles/Voyles/Viles (b. 1830 in Greene Co., TN ) was of an Aaron/Arrant line which changed its name for whatever reason to Voiles.
Philip Voiles' DNA markers indicate he is related to Benjamin b. 1804 SC and Joseph Aaron b. 1804 SC.
